Terms & Conditions

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (the “Site”) and any request for estimates, scheduling, or services initiated through the Site. The Site is operated by Urgent Garage Doors Inc (“Urgent Garage Doors,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Who We Are / What We Do

We provide residential and commercial garage door repair, installation, and related services (the “Services”). The Site provides general information and a way to contact us, request an estimate, or request scheduling.

2) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

3) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or request Services. If you are using the Site on behalf of a business or another person, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity/person to these Terms.

4) Site Use Rules (Acceptable Use)

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for unlawful purposes, fraud, or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.

  • Interfere with the Site’s security or operation (including hacking, malware, scraping, or automated access without our permission).

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.

  • Post or submit false, misleading, or defamatory content.

We may suspend or block access to the Site if we believe you violated these Terms.

5) Quotes, Estimates, and Scheduling

Estimates/quotes are not final prices. Any quote you receive by phone, text, email, or through the Site is an estimate based on the information provided and may change after on-site inspection, diagnosis, measurements, code/permit requirements, parts availability, or additional work requested/needed.

Scheduling windows. Arrival times may be provided as windows, not exact times, and can change due to traffic, prior jobs, emergencies, or parts pickup.

Right to refuse service. We may decline or stop work if we determine conditions are unsafe, access is not available, information provided is materially inaccurate, or for other legitimate reasons.

6) Customer Responsibilities (On-Site Work)

When Services are scheduled, you agree to:

  • Provide safe, timely access to the property and the garage door system.

  • Secure pets and remove obstacles around the work area.

  • Disclose known issues (e.g., electrical problems, prior damage, unusual door behavior, prior repairs/modifications).

  • Ensure a responsible adult is present (unless we agree otherwise in writing).

If we arrive and cannot safely access or perform work, a trip/diagnostic fee may apply where permitted.

7) Payments, Deposits, and Cancellations

Payment timing. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due at completion of work.

Deposits/special-order parts. For custom doors, specialty items, or non-stock parts, we may require a deposit before ordering. Deposits may be non-refundable once parts are ordered.

Cancellations/rescheduling. Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a fee where permitted.

8) Warranties and Manufacturer Terms

Some parts may be covered by manufacturer warranties; labor/parts warranties (if offered) may be provided in writing at completion. Warranty coverage may be void if the system is altered, misused, not maintained, exposed to abnormal conditions, or repaired by others after our work.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN WRITING, WE DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED) REGARDING THE SERVICES OR PARTS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9) Safety Disclaimer

Garage door systems can be dangerous. Content on the Site is general information only and is not a substitute for professional inspection or repair. Do not attempt repairs you are not qualified to perform. Always follow manufacturer instructions and safety precautions.

10) Website Content and Intellectual Property

The Site and its content (text, photos, logos, designs, videos, and other materials) are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

11) User Submissions (Forms, Photos, Messages)

If you submit information through the Site (including photos), you represent that:

  • You have the right to submit it, and

  • It does not violate any law or third-party rights.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use submitted content for the purpose of responding to you, providing Services, improving our operations, and maintaining records. (We will handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.)

12) Text Messages, Calls, and Email Communications

By providing a phone number or email, you consent to be contacted by us at that number/email regarding your request, appointment, estimate, or Services (including by call, text, or email). Message/data rates may apply. You can request to opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP (text) or contacting us.
