Westpark opened in 1987 as an Irvine Company village in ZIP codes 92614 and 92606, threaded by Paseo Westpark and San Carlo and reached from Culver Drive, Harvard Avenue, Barranca Parkway and Main Street. It was the first community on the Irvine Ranch designed as a Mediterranean village, introducing pastel stucco, terra cotta and red concrete tile roofs.
