Harbor View Hills is a formally adopted Newport Beach Planned Community, PC 3, covering about 768 acres in eighteen planning areas on the slopes above Corona del Mar, with the Irvine Company as developer. San Miguel Drive, Newport Hills Drive East and West and Spyglass Hill Road organize the district, along with the Port and Yacht street names, and homes sit on generous hillside lots with ocean, harbor and city-light views. Development dates from the early 1970s.
