Garage Door Services in Yorba Linda Country Club

Yorba Linda Country Club is a private golf and tennis club at 19400 East Mountain View Avenue, ZIP 92886, and the residential streets around its fairways carry its name. The course opened in 1957 on rolling terrain between Yorba Linda Boulevard and Imperial Highway, near the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. Homes here are custom and semi-custom on generous lots with mature landscaping, largely from the 1970s and 1980s, older than the newer master plans such as Vista Del Verde.

Custom homes of that era mean non-standard openings, including wide single-panel and oversized two-car doors, and original wood doors are common. Once wood panels have dried, split and delaminated, refinishing buys a season, while a steel or composite replacement also fixes the weight and balance problem. Every home is different, so sizing is done at the property, and a new door on an oversized opening often needs new track and correctly sized springs rather than a like-for-like fit. Homes on the course see ball damage. Openers made before 1993 may lack photo eyes. Yorba Linda is inland north Orange County, with hot summers and dry autumn Santa Ana winds that push grit into tracks and roller bearings, and heat and sun are hard on painted steel, wood panels and weatherseals. Heat does not change a spring's rating, though: torsion springs are rated in cycles, commonly around 10,000, roughly seven years at four openings a day.

Where an association governs your street, get architectural approval before ordering. Yorba Linda knows why battery backup matters: the 2008 Freeway Complex Fire burned into the city and destroyed homes, and the foothill and canyon edges sit in mapped fire hazard zones where a power shutoff can come with little notice. Without backup, a door has to be released and lifted by hand, which is heavy on a double or triple door. Urgent Garage Doors answers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a 30 to 60 minute response, carries common springs on the truck, and gives a written price before work begins. Residential openers installed since July 1 2019 must have battery backup under SB 969. We work under California license CSLB #1055150, classification C-61/D-28. Call (949) 529-7743.
